Miss Reesy is the full package…she is friendly, affectionate and playful. She gets along with other kitties and we were told she does well with dogs. She also has very unique coloring – a mix between a Calico and a Tortoiseshell, a Torbico if you will. Very beautiful! Reesy is spayed, current on shots and litterbox trained. Poor Fritzie was found in the national forest with a flea collar on, but no owner anywhere?? The forest service picked her up and put her in foster care until we had room at the shelter. Miss Fritzie is super affectionate and purrs as soon as you pick her up. She loves to be held and nuzzle into your neck. She does not appear to be a fan of other felines, but loves people. She is litter box trained and spayed. Fritzie has been both indoors and outdoors and is about a year old.
Molly is the sweetest thing! She craves attention and is good with other dogs and kids. She even likes cats. Molly loves human contact and affection. She likes to lean against your legs and stare straight up at you with her loving eyes. She showed up as a stay with some puppies and the family was unable to keep any of them. She was only outdoors until we got her but has adjusted well to indoor life. She is house trained too. She is more on the high energy side and loves to play and go for walks. She can also follow simple commands and likes to sit for her treats. Miss Molly is 1-2 years old and weighs 60lbs…she is short and stout, all muscle. Angel came to us with her siblings, Arlo and Avery. These babies were dumped at 6 weeks old at a home that already had too many cats. Angel has been well taken care of and is very socialized. She loves other cats and is very affectionate. She is litter box trained and spayed. She has been both inside and outside, but prefers a warm bed and loves to cuddle with her siblings. She is about 8 months old now.
Thumper is a 2 year old, 25 pound Wire-Haired Terrier mix with the most beautiful eyes. She was surrendered to us because her owner became homeless and had a ton of dogs that she could not care for. She was born into this home and has not received much socialization. She is not good with other dogs or cats. She would not be good with kids due to her temperament. She attaches easily to one person and would be a good companion animal for someone with patience and understanding, someone who will work with her fears of people/animals and give her the training and security that she needs. Thumper is crate trained.
**Sundae was enrolled in the Paws in Prison Program for 8 weeks of obedience training. She will be at the North Central Unit in Calico Rock. She will be crate trained, house trained, learn manners, and she will learn lots of tricks as well! Sundae will be looking for a forever home before she graduates in mid February, so if you are interested in meeting her, please contact us!
Cleo is one sweet kitten. She loves to be in your lap or roll over and get belly rubs. She was surrendered to us from someone with too many cats, but she also took very good care of her. Cleo she is very socialized, friendly, and loveable. She is litter box trained, spayed and current on shots. She does well with other cats and would make a great family pet.
Skittles is more on the shy side, but comes out of her shell with the help of cat nip treats. She is very playful and also likes to be held. She has been mostly outside, but was kept in the barn at night. She is getting used to being indoors, but likes be outside as well. We are told she LOVES to climb high up in the trees and has no problem getting back down. Skittles is litter box trained and has been around dogs. She will be spayed on 10/8 and fully vaccinated. She is about 5 months old.
