Molly is the sweetest thing! She craves attention and is good with other dogs and kids. She even likes cats. Molly loves human contact and affection. She likes to lean against your legs and stare straight up at you with her loving eyes. She showed up as a stay with some puppies and the family was unable to keep any of them. She was only outdoors until we got her but has adjusted well to indoor life. She is house trained too. She is more on the high energy side and loves to play and go for walks. She can also follow simple commands and likes to sit for her treats. Miss Molly is 1-2 years old and weighs 60lbs…she is short and stout, all muscle. Fawkes (pronounced Fox) is calm, gentle and easy-going. He loves affection and he loves his brother Puddles. They have been together since birth. They have been pinned up because they like to wander and their owner was never home, so he didn’t want them to get lost. They will need a home with a fenced yard or lots of land where they are allowed to roam. They both came with very matted fur, which we are in the process of grooming. Puddles and Fawkes are house-trained and do well with other dogs. They are very friendly and don’t bark much at all. They are such good dogs that will make great companions for any dog lover. Puddles currently has an injured foot and Fawkes is being treated for the tick disease, but other than that, they are healthy boys. We would like to keep this bonded pair together if we can, but if you only have room for one we may consider splitting them up. These guys are about 7 years old and around 75lbs each.

Thumper is a 2 year old, 25 pound Wire-Haired Terrier mix with the most beautiful eyes. She was surrendered to us because her owner became homeless and had a ton of dogs that she could not care for. She was born into this home and has not received much socialization. She is not good with other dogs or cats. She would not be good with kids due to her temperament. She attaches easily to one person and would be a good companion animal for someone with patience and understanding, someone who will work with her fears of people/animals and give her the training and security that she needs. Thumper is crate trained.
**Sundae was enrolled in the Paws in Prison Program for 8 weeks of obedience training. She will be at the North Central Unit in Calico Rock. She will be crate trained, house trained, learn manners, and she will learn lots of tricks as well! Sundae will be looking for a forever home before she graduates in mid February, so if you are interested in meeting her, please contact us!
This little love bug is Ham, aka Hamilton or Hammy. He is full grown at 26lbs and is such a sweetheart. He loves other dogs and goes crazy for booty scratches. He is very shy at first but will love you to death if you give him time to warm up to you! He has a very gentle nature and you can tell he just wants to be loved. Ham is house-trained, neutered and up to date on shots.
