Nala is a super sweet and pettite cat. She came to us with her sister, Sarabi, from a home that just had too many kitties. Nala is very socialized and friendly. She does well with other cats and dogs too. She has been both indoors and outdoors, is litter box trained and spayed. Nala is ready to find her forever home, will it be yours?

Picasso is playful, sweet, and full of personality. He is very socialized and affectionate but can be a little timid at first. He has only been outside, but is loving being inside at our shelter. He is doing pretty well with house-training, but still needs a little work. Picasso is good with other dogs and kids too. He is about 8 months old and 60lbs (as of 10/4/24), will probably be about 65-70lbs full grown.

**Pablo graduated the Paws in Prison Program on December 3rd, where he received 8 weeks of obedience training. He is house trained, crate trained and learned manners as well as some tricks! The following info was provided by the trainer at the prison about Pablo:
-from his handlers: don’t judge on first appearance
-very loyal once trust is built
-small family would be a good possibility
-they say he is one of the smartest dogs ever in the PIP program
-I would add that his training is near perfect, he stays focused on his handlers when asked to do something and does not get distracted easily. Still has some fear issues so we did not do a “CGC Ready” test with him. The knowledge of his fear is why I did not test him for that. Every other test for basics, advanced, tricks, hand signals, and verbal cues were all really good.
Pablo showed up as a stray with his brother, Picasso. He is sweet as can be and loves to smile at you and he has the softest eyes. He is a little shy when you first meet him, but the more attention he gets, the more comfortable he becomes. Pablo is house trained and walks very well on a leash too. Smart little cookie, this one! He is good other dogs but is a little afraid of small children with their fast movements and loud noises.
Pablo is about 10 months old and weighs 50lbs, will be tops when full grown.

**Rufus just graduated the Paws in Prison Program for where he received 8 weeks of obedience training. He was crate trained, learned manners and now knows lots of tricks. Rufus also passed his Canine Good Citizen test with flying colors!
Rufus is one happy and well behaved pup. He was adopted from us as a puppy and returned because he killed their chickens, so no chickens for him! Otherwise, he loves everything and everybody. He is good with kids and very good with other dogs. He is smart as a whip too. He will sit upon command and is housetrained. He also loves booty scratches and affection. Rufus would make a great family pet or companion for any dog lover. He is full grown at 45lbs and is a year old old.

Rover is one happy guy! He is good with other dogs and kids too. He has not been around cats, but we can introduce him if necessary. He is mostly house-trained except for the occasional pee accidents. He was never on a leash before we got him, but he walks great with a harness now. He is extremely smart, super sweet and needs a family or person who will shower him with attention and love. Rover is just over a year old and weighs 76lbs. He will be around 80lbs full grown.

Enzo is an energetic and playful kitten. He loves to zoom around, jump and climb. He needs a home where he can run and play with his toys and be the center of attention. Enzo has a very unique coat of spots on his body and belly, with stripes on his chest, legs, face and tail. He is very socialized and would be great with kids and other animals. He is also litterbox trained, neutered and current on shots.

Dill is a sweet, playful kitten. He was very shy when he got here but now loves affection and is curious about humans and likes to be held and petted. He needs a home where he can run and play with his toys and be the center of attention. He has a swirl pattern on his fur that everyone comments on – he is really cool looking kitty! Dill is litterbox trained, neutered and current on shots.

Sammie, who is 6 years old, was brought to us by her owner who could no longer take care of her due to health problems. Sammie was very overweight when we got her, but is slimming down. She is down to 78lbs now (from 90). She has been both indoors and outdoors and is house trained. She does well with other dogs and kids. Sammie has a very calm, sweet disposition and loves to cuddle and get belly rubs. She is used to being in a home and would make a great family pet.

Hey everyone, London here! I just turned One and I am full grown at 45lbs. They tell me I am a smart cookie because I have learned so much since I got here back in February (2o24). When I arrived, I didn’t know how to walk on a leash and I pottied in my room (which I guess is a big NO NO). Now I love going for walks in my harness and catching bugs and running through the tall grass. I only use the bathroom in my outside area or the yard and I can use the doggie door as well! I really like to play with toys and with humans, but other dogs make me nervous and I can’t stand cats! I am getting used to other dogs though and might have a roommate soon, but I hope I find a forever home before then cause I really prefer to be by myself.
I would be a loyal and fun companion, if you would give me the chance.
