Leeloo is a beautiful long hair kitty. She was abandoned and cared for by a neighbor until we could take her. You can tell she is used to being in a home because she loves human attention and contact. She has a very sweet and playful nature. She does well with other cats too. She is litter box trained, spayed and fully vetted. Leeloo is just under a year old.

Moose is very shy but also very sweet. He came to us with his siblings, Bean and Fish. They were rescued as kittens and kept inside but never received much attention. He is the biggest of the bunch and probably the bravest. He is warming up quickly to all our attention and care. He is litter box trained, neutered and fully vetted. Moose needs a home that will be patient while he settles in; the world is scary and mysterious right now. He is almost 2 years old.
Bean is blind in one eye as a result of the feline calicivirus, from when she was a kitten. It really doesn’t slow her down any, she gets around just fine. She came to us with her siblings, Moose and Fish. She has only been inside and wasn’t socialized. Bean is very shy and likes to hide, but is coming around slowly with human attention. She is litter box trained, spayed and fully vetted. Bean is one scaredy cat that needs a lot of love and affection, I just hope her fears do not prevent her from being adopted. She will do well in a calm, quiet home. She is almost 2 years old.
This little sweetheart is slightly cross-eyed but this makes her even cuter. Someone rescued her as a kitten with her siblings, Moose and Bean. They were kept inside but did not receive very much attention or socialization. Fish is very shy and a little skittish, but is warming up to the new sounds and sights of the shelter. She is learning that people are good and will give her a lot of love. She is litter box trained, spayed and fully vetted. This sweet girl needs a patient and loving home that will understand her fears and work with her slowly. She is almost 2 years old.
Ginger is the sweetest little ball of soft fur you will ever touch. She is about 6 years old, very mellow, laid back, and friendly. She loves to get belly rubs and be held. She will be a great lap cat! Ginger does ok with other cats but is not a huge fan of them. We do know that she loves dogs though. She is litter box trained, spayed and fully vetted. She has been both indoors and outdoors, but prefers a comfy, warm place to cuddle up on. Can she be your new cuddle buddy?
Hawkeye is a really friendly and energetic dog. He loves to play fetch, go for walks and play in the water. He would be the perfect dog for a young, adventurous couple or family. Hawkeye enjoys chewing on toys and will bring them to you or other dogs to show them what he found. He is great with other dogs and older kids (could knock small kids down). He is on the bigger side and doesn’t realize his size, so he will need people that can “handle” his size and energy. He knows his basic commands and is eager to please. Hawkeye needs a home that will match his sense of adventure and zest for life. He is 1 1/2 years old and weighs 73 pounds. He is neutered and current on vaccinations. His mom was a Black Lab and dad a German Shepherd.
Jewel showed up as a stray in someone’s shed. We posted her online to see if she belonged to anyone because she is so sweet and friendly, but no one claimed her. She loves attention, head scratches and to just be lazy and lay around. Her name came from her beautiful greenish-blue eyes. She is litter box trained and was already spayed when we got her. Jewel would be good with kids and other cats too. She is about 6 years old.
Bailey is a very petite 1 1/2 year old Border Collie mix – 26 pounds of cute! She was surrendered to us because her owner went into a nursing home. She had only been outside on a farm before we got her, so she’s more on the timid side, but warms up quickly to those who bend down to her level and talk sweet to her, moving slowly. Bailey loves other dogs, cats, and kids. She is partially house trained and is very smart and eager to please, so training should be a breeze.
June is a survivor. She was found in an old barn, covered in ticks, very malnourished and weak. She has apparently been on her own for a while, struggling to survive. She is currently being treated for a double ear infection and tick fever (ehrlichia). The ehrlichia and anemia are causing her to have trouble walking. She is very weak in her back legs. June is about 40lbs underweight and receives frequent feedings to build up her weight to a more normal size of 90 pounds. All of these issues are easily treated with time and care – we are already seeing improvement in her. She is very friendly, affectionate, and loves human interaction. We don’t know much about her history but appears to be very receptive to all the care and love she is receiving at the shelter. She will be available for adoption once she is at a healthy weight and able to be spayed. She is about 7 years old and will be around 80-90 pounds.
Buddy is super sweet and loves attention. He was surrendered because his owner went into a nursing home. He has only been outdoors before we got him but enjoys being inside at our shelter. He is heart worm positive and receiving treatment. He will be available for adoption after his treatment, which ends April 17. Buddy is good with other dogs, cats, and kids too. He is full of energy and very smart. We only have to show him how to something once and he understands (like walking with a harness and leash). He likes cuddles and to chew on stuffies. Buddy will make a great companion for any dog lover.
